A warm, supportive team moment
Outplacement Services

Transitions, handled
with dignity

How you treat people on their way out says as much about your company as how you treat new hires.

Career coaching, not a checklist

This isn't a generic resume template handed off and forgotten. My background is in one-on-one career coaching, so departing employees get real support: resume and interview help, and someone who's actually invested in what comes next for them.

Protecting your employer brand

Layoffs and restructuring are hard, but how they're handled follows a company. Treating departing employees well protects your reputation with everyone who's watching, remaining employees included.

A team supporting one another

Leadership is not about being in charge. It's about taking care of those in your charge.

Why Choose Good Work

Support that actually
holds up under pressure

01

Care and professionalism

Employees leave for every kind of reason. Whatever brought them to this point, they're met with the same respect and preparation as anyone I'd place in a new role.

02

Career-coaching expertise

This is what I do outside of recruiting too, through Career Coach Nicole. Your departing employees get a coach who has actually done this work full-time, not a side offering.

03

A reputation you can build on

Investing in employees on their way out isn't just kindness, it's a signal to the employees who stay, and to every future candidate who hears about how you handled it.

FAQs

Questions HR teams
usually ask first

Where do outplacement services take place?

Virtually, over Zoom, the same way I work with every client. Happy to talk through a different arrangement if your team needs it.

Who coordinates the employee receiving the services?

Once you introduce us to your exiting employee, it's hands-off for you from there. They get access to a client portal to schedule sessions, submit documents, and manage the process themselves, and we work directly with them to make sure they're informed every step of the way.

Will you report back on how successful the outplacement services were?

We take client confidentiality seriously. Once your exiting employees begin coaching, they become our clients too, and we don't share the content or outcomes of their sessions. What we do encourage is healthy, direct communication between you and your exiting employees, since that relationship doesn't have to end when employment does.
